When the SouthWest Suburban Conference formed in the fall of 2005, there was only one conference champion in girls swimming for the first three seasons.

But when Lincoln-Way North opened in the fall of 2008, the SWSC broke off into Blue and Red divisions for swimming and remained that way for a decade.

Now, after the departure from the conference of Joliet West, Joliet Central, Thornwood, Thornton and Thornton, with the league down to nine teams, there was once again only one conference meet.
