For me, and millions of others around the world, Easter reminds us that our hope is in a personal God, not an abstract idea or cosmic power. God visited us in Jesus and brought the relationship of the divine Trinity into human experience. Early Christians reflected on this truth in many ways, and the Apostle Paul remarked, “Christ left heaven and set aside its glories to become human and take on the form of a servant. And in his humanity he became obedient even to the point of death on a cross.”
