A group of amateur photographers gathered Sunday, Aug. 5, around a native species of sunflower as they took photographs of a butterfly perched on one of the golden petals with its wings fanned out. Their guide, Suzy Lyttle of Mokena, an interpretive naturalist for the Forest Preserve District of Will County, shared her knowledge on the butterfly and the sunflower with the group of locals who followed her along the path.
