For the fifth year, Lincoln-Way North raised thousands of dollars for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
North held its annual head-shaving event Friday, Feb. 14, before the varsity boys basketball game. North raised approximately $18,000, upping its five-year total to nearly $80,000.
Club sponsor and North teacher Coley O’Connell said it was the second highest total in the short history of the event.
A total of 38 people participated this year — 29 students, two teachers and seven community members.
