It’s nearly St. Patrick’s Day on the South Side, and with it comes an energy that only Chicagoans know. While some Irish spirits come in a glass, others come in the form of song passed from generation to generation. The Saturday, March 10, afternoon performance by the Banna Irish Duo, consisting of Mary Barrett, of West Dundee, and Paul Wood, of Mount Prospect, drew a full house to the Mokena Community Public Library.
